Fayette School and Home Association News (2007-2008)
The Fayette School & Home would love to expand its base! If you have children in the school, or would simply like to give to the next generation of Fayette graduates, PLEASE consider joining our group. When more people become involved, more ideas eventually surface and that means more fun and learning experiences for our children!
For the 2007-2008 school year some things that were talked about include, of course, the ever-popular Dr. Seuss Night, a repeat performance of the Super Fun Halloween Party and a Public Spaghetti Supper (9/27). There are many other ideas for upcoming events (perhaps a visit to Dr. Seuss in Augusta; a Mystery Dinner with a professional tour.) Keep your eyes and ears open for future events.
CURRENT FUNDRAISERS:
Some of the current fundraisers going on now are super-easy to participate in.
Just bring your "Hood" milk bottle tops (the ones with the Boston Red Sox), old printer cartridges and old cell phones to the front office at the school. All of these items (when turned in to the proper facilities) will automatically incur fundraising dollars for Fayette School and Home how easy is that??? PLUS it points toward recycling something we should all be striving for.
Also, our local Hannaford is getting in on the game. Whenever you pay your bill at the local Hannaford or Mister Market, just look for the printed out coupon that says "School Dollars!" Take THAT receipt to the front desk and when we turn it in we'll get dollars for that!
No gift wrap, magazines or gifts to sell for those!
